Terms of Service
The terms that apply to this website and to inspection and testing services provided by Mold Testing LA.
Effective date: January 1, 2026
Website usage
By using this website you agree to these terms. The content here is provided for general information about mold inspection and testing services and is intended to help you decide whether to contact us.
Service information
Mold Testing LA provides mold inspection and testing services, including visual assessment, moisture detection, infrared thermal imaging, and air and surface sampling submitted to an independent laboratory. We do not perform mold remediation, construction, or repairs.
Descriptions of services on this website are general. The scope of any specific inspection is agreed with you before the appointment.
Appointment requests
Submitting a form or leaving a message is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment exists once we have confirmed the date, time, scope, and location with you directly.
Access to the property, including areas relevant to the concern, is the responsibility of the client or their representative. Areas that cannot be safely or reasonably accessed are excluded from the assessment and noted in the report.
Testing limitations
Inspection and testing describe observable conditions at the property at the time of the visit and at the specific locations assessed or sampled. Conditions can change, and building materials can conceal moisture or growth that is not detectable without invasive access.
No inspection or test can guarantee that every hidden condition has been identified, or that a property is free of mold. Results should be read as information about what was observed and measured, not as a warranty about the property.
Laboratory services
Samples are analyzed by independent third-party laboratories. Laboratory turnaround times and analytical methods are determined by the laboratory. We report laboratory results as issued and are not responsible for laboratory error, delay, or interpretation beyond explaining the report as written.
Reports
Reports are prepared for the client who engaged us and for the property and scope described in the report. They should not be relied upon by other parties, for other properties, or for scopes beyond what was assessed.
Reports are informational and do not constitute medical, legal, engineering, or construction advice. Decisions about remediation, repairs, habitability, tenancy, or health should be made with appropriately qualified professionals.
Payments
Fees are quoted before work begins and are based on the agreed scope, property size, and number of samples. Additional sampling or scope requested during the visit may adjust the total. Payment terms are confirmed at the time of scheduling.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled at very short notice, or visits where access to the property is not available on arrival, may be subject to a fee, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from our services or this website is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Intellectual property
The text, images, layout, and other content on this website belong to Mold Testing LA unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or republished without permission. Reports we prepare are provided for the client's own use.
Privacy
Information submitted through this website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page.
