Mold Testing in Los Angeles
Mold testing collects physical samples from the property so an accredited third-party laboratory can analyze them. Testing is most useful when there is a specific question to answer: whether an area differs from outdoor baseline conditions, what a suspect growth is, or whether a remediated area now compares favorably to unaffected areas.
Types of samples we collect
Air samples capture what is present in the air of a given room, typically compared against an outdoor control sample. Surface samples — swab or tape lift — investigate a specific visible growth or staining. The sampling plan is built around the property and your concern rather than a fixed package.
Laboratory analysis
Samples are submitted to an independent laboratory for analysis. The laboratory report is objective documentation, and we walk through it with you so the numbers and species names become something you can act on.
What testing can and cannot tell you
Testing describes conditions at the time and location of sampling. It does not prove the absence of mold elsewhere in a building, and it is not a medical assessment. We are careful to describe results in terms of what was actually measured.
