Post-Remediation Testing in Los Angeles
After remediation work is completed, verification testing documents the condition of the work area before it is rebuilt. Because we do not perform remediation, our assessment of someone else's work carries no conflict of interest.
What verification involves
A visual assessment of the containment area for remaining debris, staining, or damaged material; moisture readings to confirm materials have dried; and air or surface sampling as appropriate, compared against outdoor and unaffected indoor areas.
Timing matters
Verification is performed after remediation and drying are complete but before containment is removed and the area is closed up. Testing too early or after reconstruction limits what the results can tell you.
Your documentation
You receive a report describing the area assessed, the conditions observed, and the laboratory results. Property owners, tenants, and buyers frequently need this documentation for their records.
